Was it on purpose that in the bond cycle in war of the spark if you combine both the guilds colors it is the colors of a alara shard in each bond??????
In order to fit in all ten guilds into the five-card cycle, you had to mix and allied-colored guild with an enemy-colored guild, and that makes a shard.
